"I’m finally free of this horrible company! Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering using them to not to do so! I found the entire experience exhausting, frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. I was fully lied to about the nature of the contract, and when I tried to leave, every step became a battle. Instead of making the process straightforward, they did everything possible to force me to stay with them, including sending a man to my premises even when I told them repeatedly I didn’t want anybody to come. they insisted on coming anyway so they could do the hard sell, which I found intimidating and completely unacceptable. It took just under two years to get away from them. Good riddance to bad rubbish… and yes, the pun is absolutely intended. I certainly won’t be making the mistake of dealing with them again. And I urge anybody considering please don’t! Use literally anybody else!"

"STAY WELL AWAY - SCAMMERS !! As a business owner, this has been one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. What appears to be a simple waste collection service quickly turns into a contract nightmare. Pay very close attention to the renewal clauses and notice requirements. In my experience, if you miss a very specific cancellation window, you can find yourself tied into another lengthy contract. Notice must also be served in a very particular way, making it far more difficult than it should be for businesses to leave. The service itself did not justify the prices being charged, and my confidence in the company was further damaged by the way complaints were handled. Concerns I raised were dismissed rather than properly addressed, leaving me feeling trapped in a contractual relationship with a company I no longer trusted. Having since spoken to alternative waste providers, I was shocked at how much cheaper and more customer-focused the competition appears to be. Before signing anything with ASH, read every line of the contract, research other providers and read the reviews carefully. If I had known then what I know now, I would never have signed up in the first place."

"Having gone through the traumatic experience of collective redundancy and closure of some of our business service areas, trying to terminate the contract with Ash Waste has been extremely difficult, stressful and costly to achieve. My advice to SME companies looking at using ASH services, which supported our CIC warehouse …. look out for small print before signing any contract as a) most companies are tied into a 3 year contract unless stipulated on as 12 month rolling contract and b) you have to terminate the contract 3 months before the agreement comes to an end by writing, specifically IN A LETTER, although they will reply & correspond via email informing you how much the termination fee is … contradictory and misleading."

"AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! If you are a business owner do not get a bin with this company. One of their reps will sell you the dream and never collect your bins and this may cause a problem with the council. They’re all from harplands and do not know how to operate this company. Funnily at the same time they use 3 different excuses. 1 says our trucks broke down, the other says staff are training so were having difficulty and other says our staff are ill were sorry we have rescheduled it. They have rescheduled collection 3 times in the past 2 weeks causing as massive stress. I have been transporting bins 15 mins away in my car having to get my car washed for the past 14 days costing me £168 so far. By the time they have said they will collect it, it’s going to cost me £204 in car wash because of the smell it’s caused. Please avoid this company at all costs. Do not go near them if you have a brain. They will also try to collect money cancel your direct debits, tell them to take their bins and organise another company to drop a new bin off just like what I have done, otherwise these problems are seriously going to carry on. It’s been nearly a month snd if this is the frustration I have been facing in that amount of time no chance they am I carrying on with these people."

This company has shown nothing but **thick-skinned, insensitive, money-driven behaviour** from start to finish. Our commercial bins have gone **over 21 days without a single collection**, even after countless calls, emails, and follow-ups. Every week they promise “Monday,” then “Thursday,” then another Monday—yet nothing happens. Not once. Our bins are overflowing, our storage area is full, and the situation is now a **serious hygiene and safety issue**. Their complete lack of urgency or responsibility is unbelievable for a waste collection company. What makes it worse is their attitude: instead of fixing their failure, they try to warn us that cancelling the contract could “cause issues.” The level of indifference is shocking. They act like **money-minded goons** more interested in securing a contract than actually delivering the service they’re paid for. This company is **unprofessional, unreliable, and completely disconnected from the reality of running a business**. If you value proper service, accountability, or even basic communication, avoid them at all costs."
