David A Byrne Painting & Decorating

"Dave and his team have just completed my hall, stairs and landing... a mammoth task! I'm so pleased with their work. They didn't just come in and paint over what was there, they have spent a great deal of time and care making sure any snags were sorted/repaired so that the end result is perfect. The team worked so hard, were pleasant and respectful, of myself and my property, and clearly pride themselves on their work. I couldn't fault them and would 100% recommend them to anyone."

"Just had our hall, stairs and landing decorated by Dave and his team.We are delighted with the service we had and the end result. We highly recommend him and his guys who were very pleasant, professional, trustworthy and respectful of us and our home.We would definitely use him again in the future they have all done a fabulous job from the preparations to the wallpaper being applied.Absolute top job thanks so much 😃"

"If you have to wait 2-3 months to get a slot in David’s work diary it is because he is worth the wait and he is in high demand. David spent 5 days and did such a thorough job. 2 days of just prepping the whole place, moving all items and sanding everything to the right level. 3 days of painting and he did not even complain when we changed colour scheme the night before he was due. A true gentleman and a professional. In the last day he came only to do a visual inch by inch check and correcting any blemishes that was not visible while paint was drying. A painter who takes true pride in his craft and a credit to the profession. He happens to be a genuinely nice person who is trustworthy and reliable. Booked him already for next project in 4 months. Highly recommended."

"Dave Byrne redecorated my lounge. It is an old house, and the room had layers of donkey’s years old wallpaper, some of them over paint, and some sections of bad plaster. Dave worked meticulously (and for some time) to remove all traces of the old coverings and repair the plaster, finishing the walls to near perfect condition. Dave’s paperhanging skill is amazing. The pattern matching, seams, and edges are all but invisible. My lounge looks beautiful. Dave is courteous, helpful, and clean and tidy in his work. His work is very good value for money and I recommend him unconditionally."

"Dave Byrne has redecorated my large hall and stairwell, including ceiling paint, plaster repairs, lining paper, and wallpapering, with some paper drops of 5 metres or so. His workmanship is impeccable, e.g. only a close and very careful inspection can even distinguish the joins between the wallpaper drops! The end result is perfect, I am 100% happy with his work and I highly recommend him. Dave is skillful, honest, friendly, reliable, careful, thorough, and thoughtful. His prices are very fair and good value for money. He drinks a lot of tea (one sugar and just a splash of milk) and likes KitKats, so be prepared ... He is backlogged with work, and I now see why. Thanks, Dave, great job!"
