FM Engineering

"Having recently moved house, I hadn’t used this company before, although I’d often seen their vans locally. One morning our electric gates failed halfway through opening and tripped out. To make matters worse, the manual release mechanism was completely seized, leaving us unable to get out. I contacted the company and they immediately understood the urgency of the situation. An engineer attended the same day, got us out of trouble, diagnosed the fault (a slug had short circuited the board) and ordered the required replacement part. The part was fitted just two days later and everything has worked perfectly since. The level of customer service was genuinely exceptional—responsive, professional and highly knowledgeable throughout. Both the owner and the engineers who visited inspired real confidence with their expertise and approach. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They’ve gained a customer for life, and when we begin renovating the house, they’ll certainly be one of the first companies we speak to."

"Fabulous company,I have been well looked after by F M Engineering for years , I would not use anyone else,I am onto my 2nd home, with their electric gate installations. They are brilliant."

"Oct 2025 Recently had electric gates fitted by FM Engineering. All went very well from beginning to end. Very helpful prior to fitting and the men who fitted the electric gates/fencing were very helpful, friendly and tidy with their work. They were especially helpful with explanation of the electronics - the app, the intercom and in house and mobile phone links. Very satisfied. Would recommend. JS."

"We had a double roller garage door fitted a week ago by FM Engineering and we are very pleased with the result. The engineers were excellent, very neat and tidy and meticulous in making sure everything was spot on before they left. The door works well and looks very smart."

"Very, very pleased with the automation of the new gates I have recently had installed. David and Ellys worked well as a team and remained cheerful and friendly, despite having to work through the snow! Whatever job or service you’re paying for, it’s always better when the people carrying out the work smile!"
