"In a similar vein to a report here from a few months ago ‘shockingly substandard’ is probably optimistic for the job we had from Innovation. Honestly? You could probably do better yourself. With no experience and some YouTube tutorials. And one arm tied behind your back! We had a kitchen thrown into our home last year by Innovation - twice. It would be morally wrong to use the term ‘installed’. Six months on and I am now busy putting the numerous bodges right that the professionals seemed unable to do. Despite the early warning signs of a distinct lack of communication as time went on (other than when money was required) work finally began on the 20th of October 2025. After the surprise of a partly (and poorly) installed PVC ceiling that we hadn’t agreed on, soon the wrong colour worktops were installed as well. Later the same day our new washing machine arrived…and wouldn’t go into the hole provided for it, AS THE WORKTOPS HAD BEEN FITTED TOO LOW! In a nutshell, the whole kitchen had to be removed and reinstalled at the correct height (using the first worktop as spacers to lift up the units by the correct amount see pics!) Eight weeks later, and the second attempt wasn’t much better. We now have a fan extractor vent that flaps around in the breeze (only one screw holding it), misaligned cupboards and end plates, and a cupboard that has already pulled from the wall, a fridge with a random hole drilled in it, and multiple areas of interior damage to the cupboard that it sits in, LVT flooring that is so poorly laid the old tile floor can be still be seen, awful plumbing under the sink (which leaked when it was handed over as finished), big cut-outs in the backboards due to everything having to be moved up by 50+mm, and numerous electrical horrors - some of which were done by Brian (the boss) himself. There is more, but you are probably getting the idea now. The company couldn’t even bring themselves to apologise for this truly shameful job, and instead attempted to charge us *more* than originally quoted! The small selection of pictures and videos of the ‘finished’ kitchen should hopefully explain more. My advice? Contracting the Plague would be more fun!!!"
